LA fitness Kiosk
In late 2009 LA fitness launched another first for the Health & Fitness Industry, an in-club Kiosk system for prospective members to purchase memberships.
We were asked to develop the full system including user journey, design and integration with their in-house membership management system using webservices for realtime membership transfers.
This was the first touchscreen web application we had ever developed but we used our knowledge of how a user navigates through to the end goal of purchasing to design and develop this very successful new tool for the business.
Within 6 weeks, on a pilot in 8 clubs this system had already paid for itself!

An on screen signature mechanism for signing the contract.
Webservices for transferring new members in realtime, to their in-house membership management system.
