LA fitness
LA Fitness is the UK's second largest health and fitness club operator, with over 250,000 members and around 80 clubs. We have worked with LA Fitness since 2005.
We developed the website that allowed LA Fitness to be the first gym operator to offer you the ability to buy their memberships online. Our system fully integrates with their in house gym membership database system. From full memberships to short term, buy 1 get 1 free, and various other promotions our buy online system handles them all with ease.
We also added the facility for 12 month paid in full members to renew their membership for the next year online.
This solution was originally scowled upon in the fitness industry. They just didn't believe people would buy memberships online, people want to be shown the facilities. We proved them wrong. Our solution generates a multi million pound turnover each month!
Since 2005 we have:
- optimised the LA fitness web site
- developed a sophisticated timetable management facility. Clubs enter their timetable information; which is then authorised electronically by head office; it then updates the web site and send a copy in print format to the printers ready for them to distribute the new timetables each quarter.
- created a promotional voucher mechanism
- added the club finder ability including postcode search
- created an internal business communication intranet
